WHS uses an XML based engine to deliver the results you see on this web site. The WHS web site is simply a result of the XML engine customized to each computer reseller.
It is also important to mention that WHS runs without a database. It does not store any part numbers, costs or availabilities. It gets information on the fly, per request and specific to the user. WHS does not know what it’s looking for until it finds it.
Future versions of WHS will use the same technology to send order information directly from the portal among many other powerful features.
