WhoHasStock.com (WHS) is a community portal for computer hardware / software channel resellers, distributors and manufacturers.
Its primary goal is to allow the channel reseller to do more with less time in order to compete with larger resellers.
One of the functioning properties of WHS today is its capability to display price and availability for hardware and software products. By using the user’s specific accounts, it’s capable of pulling information from the various distributors to which the users hold valid accounts.
For example, let’s say Pro Computers Canada has an account with three national distributors and is looking for an HP product. Traditionally the reseller would have to open three browsers, login to each manufacturer, check availability and compare prices. WhoHasStock.com now allows you to check all three manufacturers at once for both price and availability (See typical results screen shot below)
WHS can also set alerts for parts that are currently not available and add the products to a cart to be used as a shopping list. In future versions, direct XML ordering will be available (already available with some distributors in select countries). WHS is also working on a technology event calendar, lead generation programs, group buying and many other exciting features.
